Cherries inspire the fact of being heavily underestimated. If you bit into the fruit carelessly you’ll be met with a pit. A chance to choke, a chance to crack your tooth, a chance to account for not knowing there was a pit in the first place.
For this project, I experimented with a new medium Gold Leaf. Used for the highlights of the cherries, it didn’t come out perfect, but in the sunlight it spoke a completely different language. The reflective nature came to life when light hits.
